Community Arts Practice

I work as a community arts practitioner in a multitude of spaces and facilitate environments for marginalised groups to process their experiences through devising, writing and performance. My approach is trauma-informed, peer-led, and collaborative rather than just participatory.

I specialise in creating intentional spaces for the queer and sex worker community. My sessions centre lived experience, honouring the unique perspectives that often go unheard or misrepresented. My practice is driven by a deep belief in the power of art to make change on a personal and social scale. I support people to reclaim their narratives and create futures where they are centred as artists, storytellers, and cultural producers.

In addition to my work with queer and sex worker communities, I’ve facilitated creative sessions with men in the criminal justice system, collaborating with The Irene Taylor Trust, The Barbican, and Age UK.

Through my performing arts company Sexquisite, I have devised, developed and delivered a number of socially engaged arts initiatives for sex workers. Alongside this, I have worked with Leeds University, UCL, and Central School of Drama delivering workshops and seminars.

I offer bespoke workshops in performance, writing, and socially engaged arts practice for universities, arts institutions, community groups, and support services. If you’re looking to collaborate or commission a creative project please get in touch via the form on my website.
